Inspired Artist of the Month

Yayoi Kusama & Takashi Murakami

Spring has always held a special place in my heart, as it symbolizes renewal, growth, and new beginnings. As we embrace this wonderful time of year, we will be focusing on creating a Spring board filled with the colors and imagery that capture the essence of springtime.
During our upcoming sessions, we will explore various techniques and materials to bring our Spring boards to life. From blossoming flowers to chirping birds, each artwork will reflect the energy and freshness of the season.
For those curious about the history of springtime, we’ve included a brief overview below:

Spring has been celebrated for centuries as a time of rejuvenation and hope, marking the end of the cold winter months and the beginning of warmer days. It’s a season that has inspired poets, artists, and writers alike, with its vibrant colors and the promise of new beginnings.
While this month’s inspiration comes not from a single artist, but from an entire season itself, some of my favorite artists known for incorporating vibrant colors and florals into their work are Takashi Murakami and Yayoi Kusama.

We also wanted to remind you that we only have one more month left of studios before the end of the term. It’s been an incredible journey so far, and we can’t wait to see the final creations from our talented young artists!
